My bad for not updating over one month already, a lot of things has been going on and I'm not sure what to share but I feel like its not justice to all my faithful readers wherever you are :)
So, this will be a very long update from me~ I'd like to share few tears and laughter for the past two months of my life so hopefully you enjoy reading them, feel me and get a thing or two from it, aite?! *wink*
First of all, since it was CNY last month, I had a week break from college and went for a five days work! Yep, my first official job! ^^
So before the holidays start, my lecturer told us about a hotel looking for part time workers for the HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT. Not really thrilled to work in that department but me and my friend were like, oh well let's just give it a try, the pay was okay, no complains there since its just a part-time job! So I went to the interview with a friend but we got into different departments, me in the Event Kitchen. Not sure how I ended up there but s'ok caused I worked in the kitchen at home a lot so kinda familiar how things will be. Least I thought it will!
Nope! GOSH I feel like I was giving all the energy I have in me, all 500% in me!
No jokes there!
Working in a totally new environment, nevertheless it was my first job I felt really timid
and clueless. Not sure what to do, where to turn to or what is it that I'm doing there.
Suddenly, on the first day was thinking I've shouldn't have applied for this
but at the end of it, I'm glad I did. At least when its time for internship, I'd know how it feels to be in the reality of working life even tho it was just a small part.
Anyhow my day start with doing all the small things, peel this and that mixed this and that, cut this and that and lotsa of stuff I'd never imagined I'd do.
I didn't get to cook since I'm not there for as an intern, but I get to make the Chinese Traditional Food,
"Kuih Bakul".
It's "Gula Melaka" cut into pieces and coated with nuts and grains.
Didn't have the chance to take a picture but it looked something like below.

p/s: steam before coat with mixture, depends on the size, if its as shown just around 30-40 seconds, aite ;D happy trying minna!
Moving on, working in the kitchen was really tiring. I gotta wear safety boots since lots of hot stuff and knifes flying here and there in the sky! *shriek*
kekekeke, nah just joking! It was really tiring the first day, work 12 hours with half an hour break!
There was an event going on straight for three days. Second day was okay considering I'm learned on what I need to do which is "just find something to do"! No, seriously! Preps ingredient, wrapping all food, and had to carry heavy stuff. Mind you I became a little bit rough after working there, since we gotta be tough
working in a kitchen, no cry-baby entertained even if you're a girl! But yeah it was kinda fun too, met a lot of kind of co-worker, crazy, funny, cool, strict! Gosh! Didn't get the chance of taking photo,
in case y'll reading this, send me one of yours!
*Diana, Danny, Edmund, Vince, Jay, Awang, Fiz*
:D
Those were just some parts of the stories, the rest will be memories I'd like to treasure to myself. :) I got a little bit sad towards the end of working, but all were good,
treat some of them to drinks before went for our last 0C Function!
kekekeke, that was probably the most emotional day, what with the hot weather and
varieties of people's attitude. But I was happy, real happy! *wink*
Got the full pay-check two weeks later, around RM1++.++,
supposed to keep it, but I already used some of it. Might finish it next week on our outing,
oh well, that is what it meant for anyway! xDDD
Hmmm, what else on the bright period of these couple of months?
Oh oh, I get to learn how to cook Nasi Briyani Ayam! So basically its sorts like mixed of rice with chicken curry! Or you can replace the it with fried chicken, honey chicken or even lamb! Yum yum! A couple of relative stops by our city for a night before heading back to Singapore
and Aunt was teaching me and mom how to cook it! kekekeke it was a very nice experience,
got a chance to try it last week on our own. It was okay considered we cooked it for the first time. :D
Sides from that, mom made "Acar", its mixed of cucumber, pineapple, onions, chili, sugar and salt!
We also had "papadam" and my very own "Ayam Sihat" kekekeke
For y'll who don't know how they looked like, its sort of something like these. (sample from Int., I'll provide real picture the next time I'll be cooking them again, pinkie promise!)

To tell you the truth, everyday was a journey for me, whether or not it was fun, boring, full of laughter or teary. But those will always be part of me, since I remember things that gives significant for me,
doesn't matter whether its positive or negative.
Anyhow, last part of my POSITIVE memories, I'm done with my third semester!!!
Yeay me! Sat for 3 papers but I think I almost flunk one, gee really hope I did okay on that one!
*Inhale* hmmm *exhale*
Some of my friends knew about this, I'm leaving to abroad next weekend.
It's a big deal for me, I can't say what it is, just pray to ALLAH S.W.T that everything will be fine
and we all be returning safe and sound!
Pray for us,
and not to forget for those who knows, please pray for our land, our soldiers and our people!
: ' )
Lastly, I know the title says "ups and down" but I feel like my post should be about all the fun things going on in my life and valuable lessons I'd like to share.
Life is too short to be sad, so none of them from me although this small heart of mine carries huge burden and sighs but to know that there are people who are much more troubled than me,
I feel like I need to be grateful, so thanks to the Almighty Allah s.w.t for the happiness and sadness,
may I keep moving forward in this petite life of mine!
Minna, I will be updating again next week before I leave. I'll be leaving for couple of weeks,
but don't worry, I'll shower this blog with lotsa post before my departure!
So wait for me aite?!
Have a good day or night wherever y'll are!!!
